SiriusXMs Advanced Placement Tour Returns For 2019

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Satellite broadcaster SiriusXM announced they are partnering with Live Nation to bring the Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement Tour featuring Bloxx, Hembree and Warbly Jets to North America this year.

The 15 city tour, which is the sixth such run featuring the brand of SiriusXM’s alternative rock channel Alt Nation, will kick off on June 12th at the House of Blues in San Diego.

Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement is a weekly show featuring new artists as well as new songs from Alt Nation artists. Hosted by Alt Nation’s Jeff Regan, Advanced Placement introduces North America to new artists, spotlights music from new albums released that week, and deep tracks from Alt Nation artists.

The show has helped artists break new music, including Hembree’s recent single Culture off of their new full-length album House on Fire, which is scheduled to be released on April 26.

The channel also features music from British group, Bloxx, who released their EP Headspace this past February, as well material from the LA-based Warbly Jets latest EP Propaganda, which was released last November.

SiriusXM and Live Nation presented Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement Tour for the first time in 2015 featuring Pop Etc., The Moth & The Flame and Banners. The second Advanced Placement Tour landed in 2016 with headliners The Shelters, The Hunna and Night Riots. MISSIO, Coast Modern, 888 and Sundara Karma performed in 2017. Two 2018 tours featured Mansionair, Mikky Ekko and NoMBe in the spring, and The Regrettes, Welles and Micky James in the fall playing as part of the Advanced Placement Tour.

SiriusXM listeners will have the opportunity to purchase tickets early on April 25th prior to their general onsale date.
